The West Bay Woodturners and Silicon Valley Woodturners are pleased to announce an all-day demonstration by Sally Ault at the Bridges Church in Los Altos. The doors will open at 8:30 am. The general public is invited to attend.

Sally will cover a range of topics: Morning demo…Jewelry. Learn the tips and techniques of making small forms that can be combined with other pieces or different materials to create jewelry piece. Design and assembly suing jewelry techniques will be covered as well. This is the perfect demo to bring your non-turning significant other to…you can make jewelry together as a team!

Afternoon demo…Boxes and embellishments. Learn basic box turning techniques and how to embellish them using a variety of techniques which can be used on any turning.

If time permits there will be a discussion of how to make a box using a Sea Urchin as the body of the box.
