July 2017 club meeting: Members' favorite tools

tools

Asked to bring "your favorite tool" we saw a variety. From the more traditional, but very servicable, hand held cutting tools, to the more unusual powered high speed carving and routing tools. It was a good to see what others are doing.

About the club barbecue - words from Tom Kenyon

This month's meeting is our annual BBQ on August 15, a week later than our normal meeting.

Location: Fred Coleman's house.
165 Harcross Rd., Woodside. Click here for a map.
Parking is at the school across the street from Fred's, Granger and Harcross - you come to Granger just before Fred's house

Start time is 4:00 pm
We will need help, particularly since it will be at a new location.
Jim has hosted us for a long time, and Larry has been our famous cook.
They have had this down part. A new location, means new learning. So sign up to help if you can.

Food - Club will furnish:
- hamburger/cheeseburgers
- sausages
- chicken
- condiments
- plates and flatware
- water
Beer/Wine is permitted, the club will only furnish water.
Bring a dish to share with your fellow members
Bring a chair.

Wood auction
Please bring wood for the auction - chance to clear out wood you are not going to use

Tool Sale/Swap
Bring any tools that you no longer need and sell them to other members or swap them for tools
Members are responsible for the sale/swap of their tools
Tool sale with proceeds going to the club (donation to help defray BBQ costs - appreciated)

Program:
- Bob Bley is putting together a program on sanding - finally a chance to hear about sanding

If you have not signed up, contact Tom Kenyon
