More details for the competition:

- The competition is open to all members. Viewing and the picnic are open to the public. Invite your friends.

- Date and Location: Saturday August 9 at the Bridges Church, starting at 8am for turning in your entries, followed by a picnic from 12pm until 2pm.

- Entry process: competition entries will be received and processed from 8:00am until 9:30am.
This means we need to be done with all receiving by 9:30am so the judges have time to look at all the entries. So don't show up at the last minute, the earlier the better, and you can help with set up once you're there !!

- Judging: our judges and a scribe will look at all the entries between 9:30am and 12:30pm.

- Picnic: in front of the Church from 12pm until 2pm.

- Please pay special attention to Competition Rules, and ... Please pre-fill an entry form for each piece you plan on showing, that will speed up the receiving tremendously...

- Information: for those who would like a refresh on design concepts,

- Laura and Barry did a very good presentation on design in Feb 2009 - a great overview. It is located here

- We hope we see everyone participate. Show your best, at any skill level. And don't forget that a benefit of participating is to get feedback  on your work from experienced judges. The judges make comments  appropriate to your skill level - that's why there are 4 levels. The goal is to help you improve your work and reach that next level.

- In addition, you may visit the website competition page here
