Instant Gallery – Return to Community

AAW supports the local community at each symposium thru the “ReTurn to Community” fundraiser.

The Bay Area “Host” chapters have decided to continue the “Empty Bowls” fundraiser with 2nd Harvest of San Jose as the receiving charity.

Turners from across the US donate bowls (and plates, platters, spoons, scoops, ladles, etc.) which are displayed in an area near the Instant Gallery.

Symposium attendees, as well as the general public purchase a $25 raffle ticket, and then Friday morning the sea of bowls is opened for anyone with a raffle ticket to pick out a bowl and take it home.

Please consider donating a bowl or two for the fundraiser, and buy a ticket to grab a bowl!

Volunteers are mostly needed on Thursday, but continuing thru Sunday. If you can help, please contact SVW member Jim Gott (jgtimp@aol.com) who chairs this committee. 

You do not have to be registered to help, and spouses and friends are encouraged to volunteer.
